The root of the problem...

So Friday I finally got an answer to my chronic intermittent abdominal pain dilemma. After yet another barage of blood tests, etc. my doctor finally sent me for an ultrasound and though she doesn't know it yet, I saw the ultrasound and could see a quite large gall stone in my gall bladder. Luckily for me I'm a vet and am familiar with ultasonography b/c I called to see if she'd gotten the results from FRIDAY and still nothing there yet. Luckily the stone seems to be rolling around and only periodically gets "stuck" in my common bile duct which is when it causes fever, inflammation, nausea, pain, etc. I'm just waiting for my doc to call and tell me when to show up for surgery b/c I want this thing OUT and done with. As the great Tupac would say, "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired." :)

On another note, Ezra is doing great. He's sooooo close to crawling forward, he can boogie in reverse no problem but forward has got him a bit confused. Now we can't just put him down to play with his toys on the floor and walk away b/c he'll be across the room in no time. He's clapping now and is just super vocal. He's such a dream and we just love being parents. I feel like I say that all the time but it's so true. We are so blessed to have been matched with him. God is great!

I also ask that you please keep our dear friends the Semlows and Kulps in your prayers, they are still having paperwork issues and their kids have been in the transition home since AUGUST!!! Please pray for this all to just be done with so they can get their kids and start their lives together.

I am SOOO glad you found the root of the problem and that something can be done about it! Wonderful!

I so understand what you mean about being blessed to be parents. I ask myself everyday "how can I be so blessed?!" God is good!

Glad to see new pics of you guys!
Aw, he is soo cute! Glad he is doing well and glad that they have figured out what was going on with you. Hope you feel better very soon :)

Hi Becky!
Ezra is so adorable! It looks like motherhood suits you well. Sorry to hear about the gallstone... hopefully that will be resolved soon.

I love the new pics of Ezra...and that he's now crawling! He just is doing amazing, isn't he? I feel the same way about Selah and she's only been home a week tomorrow! I know some adoption transitions are hard beyond belief, but I'm so thankful that yours (and ours) has been a dream so far. Blessings to you! Oh, and I'm so glad you know what's causing your pain--is that a surgery solution?
