Why I ADORE my best friend...

My best friend, Meena, recently went to New Orleans for her daughter's violin camp. She e-mailed me about places she should go and I told her she HAD to go to Sucre'. I'd been wanting to go there myself forever to sample some of the delicious looking French pastries and artisan chocolates. Well... today I got home from work and found this package waiting for me on my counter:





She'd sent me a sampler of their famous macarons!



Is she amazing or what!?!



My personal faves were the strawberry and the pecan - yum!
